Anyone else have problems with the FRP separating lamination layers?

I went to get it fitted before being painted and the body shop was all like " This fiberglass is busted and we have to fix it".

I snapped a pic. I doubt this was a shipping damage issue as this thing was wrapped in bubble wrap like it was the japanese baby jesus.

Seems like a manufacturing defect. The craftsmanship otherwise was good. I don't know how it's going to hold up long term though.

FYI everyone, Bulletproof and Do-Luck are quality companies. Don't let my experience sway you as this is an amazing quality piece, but defects happen.

Mark, Thanks for getting on top of this, unfortunately I passed the trunk lid off to my paint shop right after I took that pic so that's all I have. I don't think it will be an ongoing issue or I would have contacted you guys directly. Just wondering if the community has seen this before or if it was a one off incident. I'll see what it looks like after they epoxied the crack and painted it.
