*CEL fix! for test pipes* version 2 - super short for extra clearance
Hey Guys...
We have a new version of our popular CEL fix.
On our Evo X with the Ichiba Test pipe, it gave us plenty of clearance about 20mm of clearance between the O2 sensor and the exhaust tunnel.
But to allow for even more clearance, we now have the version 2.
gives you even more clearance, and will work with most aftermarket test pipes.
On our Evo X it cleared the CEL due to the test pipe just within the drive back home.
$26.00 shipped within the lower 48 states for EvoM!!!
You can see the two fitted without the locking nut.
*Locking nut is used to set the CEL fix at the angle you want*

The Catalytic converter reduces emissions, and the O2 sensor reads the air that is passed through the cat.
However the "after cat O2 sensor" is primarily there for emissions purpose, letting the ECU know that the Cat is working properly.
As you can imagine, when there is nothing to reduce harmful exhaust, your O2 sensor becomes overwhelmed, and when the readings reach a certain limit, which then triggers the "CEL" to alert the driver that something is up with your car.
At this point the CEL comes on.
By adding the CEL fix, which extends the O2 sensor a certain distance, so that it is not directly in the exhaust flow. This makes the ECU think that the Cat is working properly turning off the CEL.
Hope that helps.
