All Your Suspension Needs Are Covered at STM!!!
A great suspension is about as essential as having a good pair of legs.
Everything you need for your suspension can be had through STM.
When it comes to upgrading suspension, the reduction of unsprung weight is often overlooked. An easy and simple way to help your car keep planted while also increasing braking power and acceleration comes from reducing rotating mass. This can be had two ways: lighter/better brakes and lighter wheels/tires. If you're looking for wheels and tires you're in the wrong sub-forum, but if you're looking for brakes, look no further!!!!
GIRODISC TWO-PIECE ROTORS
The same rotors we used on our Evo X:
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.
The Girodisc front rotors: 17.4lbs vs. 23.5lbs stock.
The Girodisc rear rotors: 13.4lbs vs. 18.6lbs stock.
Reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from cast iron to the same specification and material as used by professional racing organizations. It is a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
This rotor is a direct OE replacement. When using actual Evo X rear pads, no modification to the backing plate is required. Magic Pads, Raybestos and Ferodo require no mods.

If you actually wanted me to list off all the different options available for the Evo X, I would bore you to death - so I'll just let you know most of the common kits available and let you know that if there's a coilover suspension made, we can get it and save you money!
