Any downfall in having a black intercooler ? or it will act the same ?

Anodizing, unlike powder coating, will not affect the cooling properties of the intercooler which is why it is so cool It's the look without any sacrifice in performance!

Of course! There are no restrictions on which intercoolers we can have anodized as I've seen parts about 10'x10' come out when I've been in to pick up our orders

So i have to ask a dumb question (oops)... anodizing i'm assuming is not like powdercoating in that if it takes a rock hit, its not going to flake, etc?

hey ets tom i would buy this if i didnt already get an ams fmic i was thinking about swapping it out for the black one my my intake tems are soo low i cant part with it but hopefully in the future when i get a second evo ill def get this

It does seem to be a fairly more durable finish than powder coating and will stand up to a fair bit of abuse and still look good
