My ETS 4.5" FMIC !

It looks awesome. Quality is flawless! Just waiting on ETS to send me another throttle body pipe since the couplers for the GM MAF are a tad shorter than the usual ones. After that, we'll start tuning and see what the results are

Bolted Up:

GM MAF:

ETS vs Greddy:

I didn't have my digital camera for these last two, so these are from my phone. Sorry

Back together:

Isnt that 4.5 alittle excessive for a stock turbo/ fp green from the looks of your turbo?

Tom chime in please

Car looks good, intercooler is huge. I recommend a BR headshield to give it that final touch.

Yes, I ran it for nearly 2 years before I upgraded.

I had originally ordered the 4" FMIC from them, but Tom contacted me the next day and said they didn't have any 4" cores, but already had some 4.5" on the shelf. So I went ahead and opted for it.

It may be a bit overkill, but keep in mind that Lucas English runs a 5" with 3" piping, and I'm not too far behind him

probably had to take off your front crash bar for that correct? Last time i saw pics of the 4 inch core installed it barely fit behind the crash bar so i'm sure a 4.5 inch doesn't.

I think you can trim the crash bar to fit, but I havent had it on in a long time. There was some minor trimming that had to be done to the bumper cover to get it ti fit.

Looking purely wicked! The black piping/black Tial combo sure looks sharp

'Tis true Lucas holds the current stock EVO IX turbo horsepower record at 506whp with our 5" intercooler and 3" intercooler piping. A bigger core is going to outflow a smaller core so spool and response are going to be maximized with a bigger core due to the super low pressure drop and relatively low airflow requirement. Really the only reasons to go smaller would be the cost/crash beam benefits as this large intercooler will offer insane flow and efficiency

So, I'm guessing this IS a stock turbo setup? Running a 4.5?

Damn, I was speaking to Tom about a 3.5 for stock, wow.
I wanna see the difference in pressure drop from a 3.5 to a 4.5. If its a HUGE difference and it will work for stock setup, then I might just get the 4.5.

Also, what's the GM MAF? I'm kinda new to that, sorry if i'm newbie

Tom, wanna chime in?

p.s. Sick *** Tial
