ETS PTE 6262 equal length turbo kit (w/ pics)

After PM'ing Tom a handful of times a few weeks ago, we finally settled on the 6262 equal length turbo kit. I mentioned to Tom that I wanted to get the kit by a certain date for an upcoming event that a lot of people are planning to attend. Tom guaranteed me the kit would be in my prescence prior to the date...and he was right. I got my kit over a week ahead of the time he originally told me!!

I received the kit this past Monday and started the install last night. Everything has now been unstalled with the exception of the injectors, which will go on tonight. The tune is scheduled for this upcoming Monday, Aug 25th. I'll be back online to post up the dyno graphs to see how this thing performs!!

Enjoy the pics!!

Very nice indeed. Any chance you didn't install the recirc pipe and want to get rid of it

Nice, hopefully razorlab can post up some data from his tune on this car. I just road tuned one awhile back and it seems like a decent setup without any of those surging problems..Keep us updated!

Glad to hear that there were no signs of surge. I'll be sure to ask Bryan to post some info either on this thread or the power threads with some info, but unltimately, it's up to him. Either way, I'll get a chart up with dyno numbers, AFR, and boost plot!

I'll try, but no promises. Cali cops are ridiculous. I'll post some dyno runs though!!

Thanks Tom! I actually did a before/after on the RNR 30r kit I had. It picked up about an extra 100rpm on spool. The before porting tune was on 104 octane and was only 2hp more than after porting on 100 octane. So I think it makes a little difference. I didn't really feel like putting this kit on and then taking it off to port the turbine housing just to see the difference, so porting was done first!

I must say, this kit fits very well. It's pretty snug and requires you to run a slim fan or no engine bay fan at all. But I think it looks cleaner that way!!
