GTX-R in its native enviroment

Behold the majestic GTX-R crouched in the wilderness of the Mitsu engine bay waiting to pounce on unsuspecting hondas...okay enough with NatGeo here are the pix:

It should spool faster, but we only use nitrous now that its an auto. When it was a manual it didnt need it at all actually. Antilag and go. It uses a 65shot to get the converter to flash and then no nitrous after that. It set to shut off at 6500 or 24psi.

We lose an extra 15% because of the auto swap. We went from 961 to 814 because of the converter and extra drag of the auto itself (and no true lock up). If we can make 1150whp as a manual this will put us to our goal of 1000whp through the auto without nitrous. This is somewhere around 115-116#/mn. We havent even got the compressor map yet, just the turbo.

Since the new motor is a 10.5:1 R&R alloy versus the 8.5:1 Groden (rods no bueno after 2 years of extreme conditions) and the GTX-R we are pretty confident we'll need to revisit the cage when we finally get back up to full power again.

If you guys have that setup complete by the dyno day I'm seriously going to sh*t! I'll just have to bring an extra pair of pants! That's the GTX4202R right?

Need to put Kiggly in his place... HA!

Thats quite a lot of power loss for an auto, even without a lock-up. What type of trans are you guys running?

You dont need no stinkin compressor map
