So does the MR have S-AYC

Owners of the MR edition
Have you noticed if there is S-AYC on your cars.
as it has been asked on Previous threads, now that the car is finally here, can anyone physically confirm this?

It is not on the car. I don't think mitsu is gonna surprise new owners with a feature that was never supposed to be on the USDM version. If it was there, the car would probably cost another 3 grand and not have a warrantee because they don't wanna have to fix somethin else that will probably break all the time. Cannot believe someone asked about this after all the threads about the MR.

Well I am to the point I don't really care, I don't have the time right now to search the forum for the info.
I saw an MR edition at the dealer today and was not totally impressed with it, the grey is a nice color but, just about every one has ordered that color and I have seen so many pictures of the grey MR edition lately in magazines etc.

Not to mention how many people are going to be on here in a few months complaining that their MR edition was stolen, or broken into just cause of the exclusivity of it, it will probably get stolen just for the Gear box, the BBS rims and the Shocks, I don't need that stress of dealing with the insurance companies.

You were also saying about the S-AYC probably breaking all the time and that Mitsu doesn't want that headache, well they are not exactly honoring the warranty as it is now, and it does depend alot on how the car is driven, If you drive like an a s s hole and things are going to break, the main thing I know about S-AYC is you'll go through tires quicker, if you're on the limit all the time.

Mitsu doesn't need to offer the S-AYC until Subaru ups the ante. And packaging shouldn't be a concern if they do what I said back in favre95's thread.

ACD deals with the Bias of the Differentials Front and rear (adjusts the 4x4 bias)
S-AYC deals with left to right bias (Yaw)
When both are combined they increase the vehicles cornering abillity immensely
Some one correct me if I am wrong but the S-AYC sends more torque (power) to the outside wheel.
So if you enter a left hand turn, the S-AYC increase torque to the outside wheel (speeds it up) causing the car to turn in tighter.

That's correct, the rear diff is electronically controlled and hydraulically actuated to send torque left or right on S-AYC equipped cars. For ACD, they also have an electronically controlled hydraulically actuated diff in the center, which can instantaniously splilt torque between 50/50 F/R to 90/10 F/R. It can never send more than 50% to the rear though.

For Tarmac mode, the ACD would set it as 25/75 front-rear bias, isnt it?
That's what I understand at least.

Gravel is 50-50 and Snow is 75-25.
