EVO 9 release date
I am looking to by an RS in the March time frame. When is the projected EVO 9 release date? Do you think the evo 9 changes will be signifigant enough to warrant the wait and the increased cost over an 05 RS?

What I've read is that the Evo IX will be released in Japan in the spring of '05 and the U.S. will see it in the fall.
The only differences I've seen are addition of MIVEC to the engine, the front and rear bumpers (rear diffuser improves aerodynamics), and supposedly, some MR goodies may become standard across all trims. The MIVEC is probably the most attractive thing to wait for, but you could probably get a great deal on an 05 RS at that time.

Most likely that rear bumper in the spy shots might not even make it to the US version. Usually the US version have big azzes due to the safety pre-requisites. I hope it goes through though. It looks soo much better and tehre might be a chance to swap it out with the current bumpers.

Here's some spy shots of the new Evo X. Following chapter 11 litigation, Ford agreed to come in and buy out 51% of the corperation. In addition all new development was outsourced to my house and I am please to reveal the loosely disgused 2007 Evolution X.
