"Under the hood, expect the output of the turbocharged, intercooled and otherwise epic 2.0 liter, DOHC, 16-valve 4G63 four to increase from the MR's 276 hp (on at least one of the various models) past the 300-hp barrier to something around 310-315 ponies."

I heard it may be out in the spring of this year

If it is basically an MR+, whats to say it isn't going to start out at $35k??

Kinda interesting that he doesn't heal-toe when downshifting rather he feathers the clutch to smoothly engage it without looking the diffs. Peter Solberg also didn't heal-toe when he did his Touge attack in BMI using an Impreza Spec C. Great videos and a great find!

he use left foot break thus heal and toe is not needed

If you see some of the higher-res pics I think the IC is the same. The opening is smaller, however, blocking the end tanks and therefore making the IC look blockier. I admit I like the new front, but aftermarket IC upgrades would appear to have some problems with this new bumper design...

The Evo 9 shouldn't be the same price as the MR. The MR has its inflated price tag because it's a limited edition. Any car with Limited Edition attached to it makes it more expensive. The Evo 9 will probably go for $30k - $31K.

My talent for reading Japanese URLs has paid off

Here's the page:

Here are the links for the 300kpbs versions

They can also be found here:

Dunno if this has already been posted, but they've also added a video of the MR at Nurburgring!!!

Ah..
The lack of the vortex generator explains why he was traveling at Mach 2 and not Mach 3..
