o really, its that good, well i wont be road racing that often, but i will be taking corners and having fun. and how do u know a used evo is going to be beat up? it depends on who was driving it, ive driven a couple used ones and they are strong as ****...... i thought that all evos have a center differential? or do they only have front and back.....?

Seems that most people on here don't believe in paying more for "exclusivity", either. I can't say that I blame them, though. I paid $26,900 for my '03 in '03 with 11 miles on the clock. I don't need the car that bad....and wasn't willing to pay out the nose for it. Just a few months ago, my friend was offered a new '05 for $27.1K.
If I can get that type of deal at the peak sales period, you can certainly get a good price on a new and/or used 8 once the 9's come out. Especially with all this talk of trading in 8's for 9's.

You don't know. *ALL* the 05's have the upgraded turbo, ACD and front LSD.
You where wrong on the STi too, the USDM STi doesn't have forged internals like the JDM one.
You come in here asking a question, and when everyone doesn't give you the answer you want to hear you start freaking out and disagreeing with everyone.
Rock on.

Since I paid the crazy price of $35,900 for my MR vs. the 33,200 they wanted for the bby Evo8, I must be insane! They would not budge on either price much, although I did get $1,300 over bb for my trade. If you guys think $2,700 more for the 6-speed(proven to quicken acceleration), Bilstein shocks(proven to help cornering on uneven surfaces and smooth out ride), BBS rims(light as ****), and graphite grey paint, among other MR upgrades, I think you might be insane. I admit the lack of sunroof sucks, but I would rather have the other things I stated. JMO of course.
