EVO IX vs. EVO VIII

I just bought my MR but I knew the IX was coming out and didn't really care.
I figure if I spend the $500 I saved in buying the VII MR, that I can probably come up with more HP and Torque than the IX has by buying a few parts with that $500.
Now, when that X comes out, that will hopefully be a differend story. I'll have my WRX paid off by then and will be ready for a new car.

yeah.. the majority of VIII parts should fit.. your telling me my radiator hoses wont fit? Why do you think the VIII had so many mods when it was released.. they were carry overs from the VII! Just think.. all the suspension mods should fit no problem, IC hoses.. catbacks, etc. I guess new cams will be needed? everything else will be all good. Tuners will be all over the car before you can even get your hands on one.

Some of you are pretty impatient especially considering the US IX hasn't even been released here yet.
You are not going to see Evo 9 specific aftermarket parts until it is released.
and alot of the parts from the 8 will fit the 9.
