He took it as a joke as it was meant to be! It seems too often my comments and other comments people intend to be a joke are taken seriously and personally and people get pissed off...but you didn't, so your cool in my book!

Yes, he's OK - but he still needs professional help.

They usually cost 1.1 to 1.3 the pound price in $'s.......So that means a 27,999 pound EVo would be in the range of $30798.90 to $36398.70 in the US.
Don't stress dude.

Questions and Thoughts on evo IX RS
Im thinking about selling my 03 evo for a IX RS when it becomes available. Im wondering about the potential of the new turbo that will be offered in this car. The turbine will be titanium/magnesium and will also be offered on the MR? Im just wondering if there will be some swapping possibilities, similiar to the 10.5 hotside mod thats been so popular with the VIII.

Good question - but seeing that we don't have any real conformation as to the specifications of the FINAL US market product it may be a bit premature to go by JDM specs, initial press reports, or magazine reports.
I would venture to guess that this car will be as tunable as the VIII and that tuners will have the answers you are looking for once they get their hands on it.

The technical specs for the USDM IX were published by MMNA to coincide with the official unveiling (the smallprint contains the usual disclaimer that they are subject to change without notice; but it's highly unlikely they will change). What we still don't know officially are the colours and price.
The IX here (probably) doesn't get the the Mg turbo offered for the JDM cars since the power outputs of all three US variants are equal and there's no mention of it in the press release.....plus peak torque for the USDM Evo is delivered 500 RPM higher than the J-spec (one of the key attributes of the Mg turbo is that it helps to deliver slightly better torque), so it probably won't feel quite as peppy. I think the 10.5 hotside is standard on all '05 Evos and is probably standard on the IX too.

The JDM turbo looked larger though.. hmm wonder if it will be the same turbo again or something new. It will really be to bad if they dont bring the magnesium turbo in the RS.. That is after all a very good dedicated autox car.

I was reading a magazine that did a review on the IX and in one of the pictures it had the VIII turbo next to the IX and the IX looked to be defanitly a decent size bigger then the VIII.
