Yea, looking back at the MR and when it was supposed to be here, I would say late Sept. early Oct., but I don't have any secret sources or Mitsu hook ups so...well...thats why I say, and I quote, "I would say late Sept". 8)

Also new is the MIVEC variable valve control system, which Mitsubishi says has been tuned to boost the engine's low-end response. It really works, too. Flooring the accelerator pedal in any gear now sends the car surging forward instantly as long as there's more than 2,500rpm showing on the tachometer. Older Evos only started to look lively at around 3,000rpm.
