"The dealer sold me an Evo $2000 back of invoice", said the pounded customer.
Friend replys," What's your interest rate"?
Customer bows his head in disappointment," 12.9%".
Good friend says, "ouch my loan shark could have gotten you a better rate".

lol. Evo IX. Last 4G63 Evo. Comes with MIVEC. Looks like a rounded EvoVII. $500 estimated over current premium. I think I'll bite. I'm a fan of collectibles and this car's one of them. I was talking to a dealership in Concord, CA after a job interview and the dealer talking to me said around Sept. and October. Possibly November. So......Merry Christmas for me!!

Our dealer principal and general manager just got back from the Mitsubishi national dealer meeting in Las Vegas. This is where Mitsu gives all the good info about upcoming modles and plans for everything. Mitsubsihi didnt say anything about a release date for the IX. All that they said was, 5 new models over the next 24 months, the Evo IX being one of them.

In a few months I need some competition for Bob Baker Mits here in Carlsbad. They have one yellow VIII left but am waiting for the IX. Also san Diego Mitsubishi as well.

I got my '05 RS for $1k below MSRP. That was the best I could do in my area of the country. There was only RS at the time I bought mine in the surrounding 4 state area (TX, LA, OK, AR, NM) at the time.

In Ohio, both Rick Case and Spitzer Mitsubishi declared that they will not be selling any more Evos after the VIII. The sale was so dismal that they ended up losing money or something...
