depends on the person looking. The RS is more functional. Have to be hardcore to buy one of them! I am getting too old. I want the MR with the 6 speed, bilsteins and BBS wheels. I wouldnt do much with the wheels/suspension. All my money will go into speed mods!

3 vs 2 ring piston for EVO IX

The specs and some articles say that besides the MIVEC the new IX will have an oil saving feature in their piston ring design. Oh, Okay, then I stumbled in this link with its specs and it says the current 3 ring piston of the current evo will be replaced with a 2 ring piston and it should have less oil consumption. what gives? I know you can replace the pistons later on but I prefer the stocker. any tuner issues? here is the link, page 8 of the pdf file.

It says 3 piece to 2 piece piston ring. I read that as a change from a 3 piece oil control ring to a 2 piece oil control ring. Not a reduction in the number of rings.

Geez, don't get your panties in a bunch over where someone thinks you got your pictures. You've been a huge post ***** since you joined. Congratulations!
Be a little more precise when you respond to posts the first time, and it'll help prevent unnecessary ones. (Like the one where the point flew way over your head about the post/page count. And yes, it does matter to say the post # instead of the page #, because your post will help all other readers besides the first guy locate the pictures in the future.)
