i totally agree i didnt like the 8's looks too much and then it just kinda stuck on me........just like the 9's first glance isnt that great but the more i look at it the better it gets

AFAIK Japanese manufacturers have scrapped the "gentlemen's agreement" of limiting the advertised horsepower to 280PS (276bhp). Expect future models (including the Evo9) to have correctly rated horsepower.
Having said that, the info trickling in so far (the 281bhp data) may have been EURO spec, not JDM.
Anyway who cares about how it looks, I'm more curious about how it evolves as a car overall. MIVEC head sounds like a good start. I hope they'll fix the brakes (which are highly disappointing) and maybe sharpen up the ACD/AYC more.

The rear underbody diffuser is sexy, sexy, SEXY. I want!
That being said, the front bumper will look a little restrictive (airflow wise) for any sort of aftermarket intercooler... anybody else think those gialla style holes might be air ducting to the brakes?
