It's in the EVOIX article of Best Motoring international. They state that the GT version (basically the US straight IX) get the Yoko A046 tires. I'll watch the Evo Strikes Back DVD and see if they got the A046 then too.

if mivec stays as similar to vtech as it seems it will, there will be almost no need for a cam change. most honda guys using vtech won't change the cams at all, and if they do, they normally only change the intake cam over. i'm not saying that mivec will mirror vtech, but one can only be lead to think that they will have very similar properties.

it's VTEC, not VTECH (they make phones )

I believe it's because it now has A/C and a stereo. The 05 RS did have A/C but not a stereo.

Wow thanks for the link, very detailed info and enjoyed reading it. The IX should be a bad *** car. Ok, sorry but I'm just a little confused on part, so the GSR and RS are going to have even shorter gears? Acceleration which is already awesome would improve, but wouldn't this effect top speed? Sorry for the noob question.
