It was my understanding that a revised Outlander or endeavor is this fall and new Lancer will be early next year and the Evo later next year or early 08 in the US.

I've never understood why people put a deposit down on a car months in advance. You are basically telling the dealer you want the car so bad that you are willing to take it in the @ss on the price. It's not like they are only making 10 of these things.

Outlander will be all new this fall for '07. Endeavor got a face lift for '06 so it won't change much. Lancer is on its fifth year already and that is the usual cycle for cars in this class. If the try it one more year as is it will probably tank really hard because the new Civic is selling like crazy. The new Sentra is coming too.

Not entirely true - when putting a deposit down on a car early on you can also lock in a great price.

The big difference to me is that now you can finally get a BLACK IX MR, about
f$%king time, MMNA should have released it with the first batch of IX's along with the Electric blue, still sucks that it doesn't have Auto climate and the S-AYC, but it seems like the American market is finally starting to get somewhere.

MMNA just suck it up and bring in the FULL SPEC EVO X, IT will sell.

Well I was kind of bored tonight and thought I would play with some pics. These are nothing nifty but these pics are exactly the same. The difference in side skirts is MUCH more noticeable side by side. Now if only If I was more savvy with PS I was going to make the silver se into the tarmac black in the second pic. It also looks like the revised side skirts better match the USDM bumper cover on the ix vs the non se ones.

SE

MR (non SE)

ix (non se) tarmac black

If I am reading correctly this goes above and beyond MR's more like no more new evo's in the US until the X launches sometime in '07.

More likely late 07 launch in Japan and early 08 here.
