I asked stevens creek mitsu and they checked on their computer. The manager told me that the first shipment of SE's will be at their dealeship on august 15th. Capitol Mitsu said they will get some in october, but I think they were lying to make me get a ix on the spot.

I was reading on that link provided, it seems like that dealership is ultra mod friendly aslong as they install it. Is there ANYWHERE near Los Angeles that is the same? I don't mind driving 2 hours, but that dealership is 5+ hours from me

I stoped at another dealership yesterday and asked about the EVO SE and guess what.. They told me only the regular lancer will get the SE package, not the EVO. This came from the guy that owns the dealership. So I made him promise me that if and when the evo dose come with the SE he would have to give me a great deal.

I am in Maryland. I still have a few things to take off my car like cam's, intake, and MBC. So I am not in any big rush. If I did order one I would have to put down $3000 non-refundable, and pay $300 below MSRP. So I was just planing to wait till the end of Aug to see if the dealership get any in. I think the strange thing is that there is no official word/ press release from any mitsbuishi sites.

Well, I went to my local Mitsu dealer today and the service manager said they have a shipment of SEs coming August 27. I got one reserved for me so it looks like I'll have one in a month. When he looked through his screen that shows shipment details, it showed most dealers only getting one with only a few getting 2 or 3. So if anyone is planning on buying one, you might want to go to your dealer and reserve one because I'm sure they will be hard to come by.

My local dealer is getting one Black MR and a few SE's…but yes a black MR!... although I am now a new owner of a Red MR ...(I went with red b/c my girl friend likes it and I got a good deal on it, and the turbotrix stage 2 pack that came with it) Best wishes NaorisG with your black MR!
