There is no mention in the article about a US market version. Given the differences in the JDM VIII and ours I am not going to get too excited yet. Still; I would certainly love to get variable valve timming and that tweaked turbo set up on my 03.
I think you have to consider the cost to ship as well as the yen to dollar conversion. That being said, the price would be rather more than 35k in US $s.

but i think the ones they are talking about is the jap spec so we really have to wait for the us spec cus the us specs may be stripped of the ayc and all the nice stuff... but over all i love it.. cant wait for the 9 none the less

Am I the only one who noticed the lack of "Electronically Controlled 4WD system" on the GT and RS models, AND the lack of Sport-ABS for the GT model?
That would really make the GT model suck hard if this holds true.

it actually doesn't look like the RS and the GT model are all that different........just that the GT model has some of the GSR creature comfort features, which i'm pretty sure most of us can do without...that being the case just save the extra cash and get the RS
