LOVE the IX concept... VII used to be my fave, but it now has a contender... IMO the VIII is ugly (stupid triangle thing).

Did you guys see the EVO Wagon...? Smells like Impreza envy to me lol.

Middle picture, zoom in if you can at the bottom.

OK, fine, I believe you. I didn't realize the pictures came from a legit website. Looks good, it's about time the EDM/JDM evo got a new bumper. I like the built in diffuser.. hope it's functional.

I think the Evo IX would look even better if it had an additional tailpine for the left. A single tailpipe either solely on the left or in the evo's case, solely on the right does not look good in my opinion.

Too bad that a single pipe is the best setup for an inline 4 engine (one set of headers to one pipe). The SRT-4 has two for looks but one is still the best for performance. I agree that twin pipes look sweet but I think they're right for going with the higher performance choice.

They never add that stuff for kicks. It costs money to do it. The Evo has always had horrible top-speed capabilities anyhow. It's about time they start whittling at that cD.

How many other sedans have underbody diffusers anyways?

Well you can fake the look of a diffuser pretty easily and it's hard to tell from the pic how far under that black piece goes. I was driving behind a 3000GT VR4 and noticed how clearly fake the diffuser is under the rear bumper. The G35 with the aero package has underbody panels; it is the only production sedan with zero lift aerodynamics. No diffuser, though.

I hate those two round inlets. What are they for? Simple fix...mount two black rectangles over them made of anything.

I wish the bumper had slits for brake cooling like the Evo 7 does by the front wheels. That would make it look more like a performance vehicle to match with the aero studs on the roof and the rear bumper.

MR wheels are too dark, provide no contrast because the rims are gunmetal.

And finally, will this thing be available in Canada? Doubtful if the intercooler is still front-mounted.

Wont it be funny if this "Evo9" is actually an MR owned by a guy who bought a Gialla bodykit and painted it all yellow?
Everyone is thinking that it is a real Evo9, he would be laughing his *** off.
