Yea, I saw that too, it's cool for those who will be racing stock. (I'm assuming most of you know what a Gurney flap is, but for that one ignoramus: http://www.allamericanracers.com/gurney_flap.html

Evo IX USDM press release

I looked around and hadn't seen this posted anywhere. Its dated for tomorrow, but just found it posted.

Clif notes:
Mivec (we all knew that)
new gear ratios for 5 speed
new front fascia and grill
smoked front and rear lenses
new 17" enkei rims
Alcantara(R) material and leather bolsters on the Recaro(R) front seats
aluminum pedals

No mention of new rear bumper or AYC....

Hmmmm.... says three trim levels? Are we talking RS, Straight 9, and MR? That could be interesting.

I think there will be three trim levels, but if you read closely you'll see that's part of the 2005 press release. Kind of tricky...

Ok, ok, ok, ok!! How about we all calm down?

If the above press release is available on a PUBLIC website, with no password needed, it is not violating anything, other than perhaps Mitsubishi making it active a little too soon.

Funny how everyone got so heated up for information that was already out there and to top it off, it doesn't even look like we're getting SAYC or the cool rear bumper Hopefully tomorrow they'll say that the GT and RS have the magnesium turbo setup.

....actually it says "The Lancer Evolution IX is available in three trim levels." Just no details. So maybe we will get an RS, GT, and GSR or MR? Have to wait a few more days.
