It looks like at least they have a Package (P) for Evo IX with HIDs + fog lights. I don't know for sure what does "Package (P)" mean, but Sun Sound & Leather Package is a different thing: Factory Option (O). The (P) might be a dealer installed package or something like that. If someone wants to upgrade the lights only...

I have mixed fellings about the E9.

The MIEVEC...well I cant really say to much about it other than the 4G63 was fine with me. The front and rear bumpers are nice but I dont need them. And I am really mixed when it comes to the whole ayc-sayc crap. After my recent drive at the Ring the system works but once you get the hang of driving on a track and know what you are doing one really doesnt really need or want the system. The biggest thing I dont like about ayc is the maintinence. To have 3 different compartments for the rear tc is just asking for trouble IMO.

Bottom line I am just happy to see any Evo stateside....Beggers cant be choosers

I will be getting the GSR....I have to have a moonroof.....its just a thing with me and the love I have for driving.

I don't wont leather.

I do want a 6 speed.

Basically I want the MR with a moonroof. I have the cash for the MR but will pass on it because the moonroof is more important than having another gear. Odds are I will blow the tranny up an be looking for a replacement anyway. I bet 6 speeds are going to be rare and expensive.

ive heard the same thing about active yawn control .....allot of japs would prefer our standard evo with all the goodies (HID's etc) without the differential prehipherals

Wow, that's both judgmental and mean. I can afford an Evo, and I am getting one. I'm sure other people here are as well. You don't have an Evo, if you want one, does that mean you are dreaming and not serious?

I think the XI is nice and isnt much of an upgrade from the VIII. I personally like the look of the VIII better. I hat how the XI's front end doesnt show the 2 pipes coming out of the intercooler. The new bumper covers them up and then adds those 2 ugly holes in the front. Mivec is a cool addition all though not worth waiting for a XI IMO. Interior wise I love mt RS interior with my aluminum shift knob, pedals and boost gauge pkg. I really love the blu recaro's as well. The XI's interior looks nice also, I just dont like the fact that there are leather accents on the seats. I also dont like how the steering wheel is all black now. I think the VIII's steering wheel has good contrast between the black and silver. Overall both look great I just prefer the eight.

I think the only way to get the moonroof on the IX is to go with the SSL package; it's not a standalone option. So you're also gonna get leather, HIDs, fog lamps and a whoopass sound system.

People, use what you have in front of you as a clue to what new price is going to be. The 05 MR is now 34,699+800(mr package)+approx 695 destination. People, the current MR is already over 36 G's sticker price. When the MR first came out it was 35,500 (approx), they then raised the price apporx 400 more dollars So, expect the same again. Lets say they raise the price to roughly 35 even BASE cost. Then add approx 800 or dollars for the MR package, then 695 for destination. So if I had to make an EDUCATED guess on this matter it is going to be between 36,500-37,000 for the MR, my guess closer to 37,000 for inflation reasons, due to rising costs everywhere, mainly fuel.

Yes, this car is getting very very expensive from the original 03' "under 30,000" dollar price.

That's what I hear....I will be stuck with leather and won't get the 6 speed but everything else is good enough.

Best thing is....my insurance wont change.....my GSX is the same symbol as a GSR.
