Yes it was the MR, just didn't have the MR badging on it, but did have the 6-Speed and MR Wheels, read more closely. All EVOs get a bump of $500.

Yeah I forgot about that Long Term Test review that Car and Driver had. Also R&T did a long term test on a 350Z and just had a lot of problems from the start, see lemons are located through out the car world.

I'm not sure if it was C&D but when I was reading some mag they were only able to get 5.0 0-60, then like 30,000 or 60,000 miles later I forgot they got like 5.1 0-60. ???

Yeah that was probably C&D test of the GSR EVO, they C&D are not the best at driving the EVO, other mags, especially Motor Trend get quicker times out of the car.

I think with the Evo IX out, there will be too many people doing 12s that there will not be room to mention them.

well i guess the MIVEC did help the good ol 4G63. The evo IX MR is exactly the same as the 8 MR, the only difference is the MIVEC (engine wise, not exterior). Let's just hope HKS, JUN, etc... have been working on cams for the IX. Lets hope more good news comes for the IX, because i plan on buying this one.

Car and Driver got like a 6.5 ughhh, but that can be misleading due to spool characteristics and gearing.
