Just to get this right...
GSR = IX
GT = MR
RS= RS
Right?
If that's the case... I think I might as well get a Ralliart next summer... sell it once I can afford the EVO IX MR and then be happy... heck maybe even save up for the X MR!
Automatic... that... scares... me...
Normally an idiot can't drive a stick... so this means we'd be getting a LOT of wanna be ricer kids who think they're awesome because they can push a gas pedal all the way down...
Not a healthy combination considering that'd probably be the best selling variant once people realize "I CAN BUY A LANCER THAT I DON'T HAVE TO TRY TO DRIVE TO GO FAST! IT'S LIKE A JAPANESE MUSTANG!."
I'm young... I know that... but I'm not an idiot behind the wheel. I'd be a little scared seeing a sophomore in high school parking lot with an auto EVO IX...

Dunno what the State taxes are in Texas, but here in NY with 8.25% tax I'm looking at nearly $40k out-the-door on the IX MR; that's assuming they don't mark-up.
If you're gonna finance $$30-32k, or similar, your payments are going to be astronomical (MMNA probably won't be offering 0% interest on the Evo).

All I can say is that if the X is gonna look like some of those pic's i've seen, I'm definatley gonna try to get a IX. But I highly doubt it considering I just got my VIII in Feb... Last 04 on the lot.

Sort of..........
JDM GSR = USDM MR
JDM GT = USDM standard IX (or "GSR")
JDM RS = USDM RS
Obviously the specs are not exactly the same for any of the JDM and USDM variants (e.g. JDM gets S-AYC on GSR but we don't get it on any Evo).
