I know it was to highlight the style of the car, but I've driven that track faster in a mini-van... if they wanted to show us how much peformance the car had, they should have been pushing it.
As far as 2 seconds faster... the test loop must have been the Nuerenburg ring.

I think manual tranny is going to be something we will see less frequently because the advancement in "auto" trannies. Now that every one will be going to a DSG type tranny I think is going to be the new hype. Even the up coming GTR is going to be offered with the "DSG" style tranny with the addition of a manual later down the road. I know it sucks but I think we have to face it.

I just don't understand why they can't offer the MR trim level in a manual. I would seriously consider an Evo X one day if I could get the lighter forged BBS wheels, aluminum rotors, and HID headlights with a manual. I guess the logic is that the only reason you buy a manual is to save money. I feel like i'm being penalized with crappier features just because I want to shift the car myself. This makes me more angry than any other aspect of the Evo X .

nice find. it's fugly indeed. the interior is attractive but, imo, it looks way too much like the lancer to be deciphered into an evo. at least now you can damn well tell the difference.
