AutoWeek article on U.S. EVO X
Sorry if this is a re-post, but deal with it - it ain't the end of the world.
The current issue of AutoWeek has a cover story on the U.S. EVO X, including some nice new pics. The most interesting thing coming out of the article (to me, anyway), is that the U.S. GSR will weigh 3,344 lbs. or about 50 lbs. more than the IX. That's less of a weight penalty than most peeps have been guessing of about 200 lbs.
It also said the X MR, which apparently will be the only model with the (no clutch pedal) manual sequential gearbox, will weigh 100 lbs. more than the IX MR. My IX MR weighs 3,285 lbs., so look for the X MR with paddle shifters to weigh about 3,385 lbs.
It also says U.S. spec is 295 crank hp and 300 lb/ft. torque, and that 0 - 60 mph times for the X should be 0.2 seconds slower then the IX.
