I don’t really understand where all these surprised negative comments are coming from. Take the Concept Sportback (which most everyone seemed to love) and then take away its wider Evo track/fenders, 20 inch rims, unrealistic front/rear overhangs, greenhouse and ride height and you’ve got the Prototype S. I don’t know what you all were expecting but, welcome to the real world.

I'm sure this is true, but I really wish it could have continued to look more like an Evo X hatch and less like a mini-Lexus/Acura SUV. We'll get another look at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show:
