anybody know how the price is going to compare vs an MR?

if it's priced similar to a GSR w/SSS i think it's a very good deal as you're pretty much getting an MR for a GSR w/SSS price minus the wing which would be a plus for me.

It supposedly will be priced at or near the GSR/SSS! So what is that 4 grand cheaper than a MR. I don't think any official annoucement has been made yet on the price.

My dealer told me to expect a SE MSRP in the $36k range putting it right inline with the GSR SSS.

Well there are RS models with those packages, but they are only available in Japan from what ive heard. However the X RS is hell to live with everyday, no radio, no aircon, no sound insulation, no thermal insulation, no wing, no heavy recaro seats (just the regular lancer seats), 16 inch rims I believe etc and no bling bling (chrome ) whatsoever. Yes its lighter and faster, but it gets so hot in there that u will suffer during summer.

I would never sport the RS unless I were going all out rallying!

I believe its basically a tuner ready car... in other words... one that would be built from the ground up by a tuner/shop as opposed to paying more for a more well equipped one that would be stripped anyways...

I agree, no one would ever get one here at least because most people other than shops do not strip their EVOs here and replace everything on it... Brakes, suspension, seats, etc..

Dude, all the Mitsubishi cars are currently undergoing their 2010 release... They just began rolling 2011 Eclipses (about 3 months ago), Fall is around the corner, that's when Mitsubishi usually rolls in all their 2011 models... That's around the same time the 2011 Outlander Sport is coming out...

now tell me if a 2010 Evo X SE by fall of 2010 makes any sense at all...

Not only it doesn't make sense to roll at 2010 model when all the 2011 models are coming out, but also the whole package is overall stupid as heck
