I highly doubt it'll be anywhere near as interesting as the changes Subaru is getting.
So, not really. They're going to introduce some stupid low-number "GSR with an SST", an Evo X SE, which will be about as interesting as listening to UT_Evo try out for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
I'm more sitting on the edge to see if there's even going to be a Mitsubishi in 2011, personally.

I think you are wrong in assuming that listening to UT_Evo trying out for the choir would be uninteresting.

This is not even close to being right. It is a GSR with Touring lip spoiler, heated seats, HID's, SST transmission, Bilsteins, Eibachs, and 2-pc. front brake rotors. There are only 300 being made for the US.
I've been told there will be a 2011 Evo, but to not expect it for quite a while.

haha, I highly recommend that you just import one! Don't make the same mistake as me and buy new locally unless you don't like money!
MR touring has the BBS rims, a sunroof + full leather seats. I wish mitsubishi didn't put so much effort into the SST. I'm pretty sure the SE is to clear out their excess auto trannies! The only benefit I see from this is someone out there will blow their SST, get pissed at it, and write up a DIY on an auto to manual conversion. I'm currently willing to pay $$$ to get it done if it were possible.

Yup! A fully loaded STI with the sport-tech package costs just a couple thousand more than a base model GSR. If you can afford to pay the price for the performance package, you still don't get HID's, smart key, and soundsystem! If you don't care for any of those, the base model is still $50k out the door!
Scorpeous imported an slightly used 08 WW GSR SSS for $33k after everything! Unless money really isn't a factor, don't buy it here based on my experience.

The SE is going to me a limited run of 300 cars (for the US, not sure about elsewhere) and sold as a 2010 model. Only time will tell if they bring it back for 2011 or just make the SST an option on the GSR. My dealership (Don Herring Mitsubishi) has 25 pre-ordered 12 of white are in Wicked White. My guess is Southcoast will be getting at least 50 if not more so combine the two and that eats up 25+ % of the supply between SoCal and DFW. The fact they're releasing a 2010 model in August plus what my dealer has told me leads me to believe it will be at the soonest early 2011 before any model year 2011's are available.
