looks like mitsu isn't killing the evo after all.. i knew they wouldn't i mean they said the same thing about killing off the ix yet they made the x..

Reports are that the Evo X will continue until MY 2013. There is no "rush" to buy this current Evo X, unless it's an excuse people want to buy a car right now.

Very curious to see what the successor might be.

Does that mean they will lower prices in the US too? After all, $37k for a MR is a bit too much to ask for IMHO considering an Evo (9?) RS had a MSRP of $28k and an even a Focus has its version of TC-SST now.

As the story gets older and older from it's original release date, it seems to be more told that how the car will change more than it will be deleted out. Again, the Japanese are not stupid and for them to kill a car like the Evo, would be bad on their part... they are not ones to loose face or kill something that has made so much history for them.... unlike us Americans.

i doubt they will budge on the price.. and i do agree with you paying that much for a mitsu seems awkward..

i am looking to add another car to my stable (mainly because i need more than 2 seats) and have been on the lookout for a good deal on a '11 evo gsr but it seems like the dealerships will only go $1-2k under MSRP - any more and they start laughing at you.. unless of course you find a dealer that is anxious to get rid of an evo..

Visit South Coast Mitsubishi (or Huntington Beach Mitsubishi, since they're under the same ownership) in California. Many people have flown there and gotten much better deals while still paying less overall after the airplane ticket.

37k is abit too much? it's 65k in Canada =)
