Funny, there is someone on this forum who has 4G63RIP on his license plate. These kinds of comments are not only silly, but divisive. Yes, the 4G63 was a great engine with its closed deck. However, it had an iron block and was not designed to meet emissions' standards after 2006. The 4B11T has an aluminum block, semi-closed deck and while not making the absolute power of a 4G63, does extremely well for what it was intended for: Rally Racing and Road Racing. Not everyone does things 1320 ft. at a time. The Evo X platform is superb in the handling department. Granted it carries more avoirdupois than the IX, but it still is a solid platform.
So please, cease and desist from childish comments like the one you made.

OK, stop the comparison NOW. If this keeps going I'm going to just start infracting people.
The final word is this. The X has proven itself time and time again on the track. I'm sorry that the CT9A guys can't accept that and have to be on a constant attack. Get over it.

Thank you Migs. Evos have always been exceptional cars whether the first one, or the X. As much as I love the XIII and IX, both from an emissions' standpoint and from a safety standpoint, they would not make it given the stringent governmental requirements that car manufacturers face.
It's funny because when I bought my 2007 Civic Si, I along with countless other owners were put down by EG and EK owners. They would not associate with us at meets and claimed that they had "real" Hondas. It is sad that the Evo X gets more respect from Subie owners than XIII/IX owners. You would think that the X was made in a 3rd world country by people who hammer out metal parts piece by piece for a few pennies a day. The X has proven itself and has gained the respect of the enthusiast community.
