New EVO Hybrid Picture
#107
I am quite torn, having a hybrid-diesel awd sedan would be something quite interesting to drive but calling it an evo just seems wrong. The next evolution of the lancer should not include hybrid technology, there is no reason they cannot achieve 30+ mpg on a turbo awd sedan that pulls 350+ hp. The techonology is there, they just need to invest in some R&D to get the job done. We all know a turbo makes an engine much more efficient over its NA counterpart, so engineer a turbo set-up that will blow the stats off the charts!

Evo X is a fat evo but damn does it impress considering its heavier but still manages to handle better and stop a tad bit faster
the weight gains need to stop though....at some point their just going to offer lead weights ..but then again I guess its already in the works (battery's)

May not even be called an Evo. President just mention that there would be a high performance car in the line up. No mention that it will be called an Evo. I think we will just have to wait and see. Any Evo would be better then no Evo. Just glad I purchased another one, just incase it's the end of them.
