That would be a huge step backward.

 

Didn't Mitsubishi already do that with the X?

 

1. Direct fuel injection
2. AS&G
3. 6th gear manual
4. and some 100kg less
Make it happen Mitsubishi.

 

Expand from the X, like the IX did from the VIII.

-350+ HP (MHI TF06-18K turbocharger from the factory?)
-6-speed manual
-all the usual interior upgrades & refinements

 

4g63T would never come back as it does not meet world emission standards. ( full open deck)
thats the only reason X uses the 4b11 ( semi open deck)

My opinion on the XI

reduced weight
new AWC where you can switch to RWD mode during cruise for fuel saving options ( yeah I know evo's are not meant for gas economy but remember governments are pushing for higher gas milage)
Bullet proof T-Case
Evo X tranny ( gsr model since those suckers are strong) but with a 6th gear for low RPM cruise.
a Information center ala the GTR with all the cool gauges.
Beilstein shocks standard and all models

It should NOT have the audi rip off front head light LED strip lights. **** is lame and tacky.

 

6 Spd with better 6th gear for highway
height adjustable seat

 

I'm hoping all Lancer models stay away from these.

 

Seeing how Mitsubishi made Outlander headlights I am certain it won't be like that.

3) **** height adjustable seat**** Seriously, I don't know if any other girls or less than tall people have this issue, but the low seats are killer making it difficult to see over the dash.
