The car looks the same as the EVO8 here, i have no extra feelings about that car and the one we have.

We don't have many of them in England. I guess 911's and 360 modenas will have to do .

And about it not looking different to the 8. It does have the same body, but there are lots of little differences (especially to the US 8). The aluminium roof with fins, bilstein shocks, 6 speed (compared to the US 8), ACD and S-AYC, Different coloured lights, carbon interior, black alcantara seats, greater torque mid-upper range, 300 BHP BASE MODEL , aluminium side impact bars, Centre of gravity lowered. It's definitely a different beast

Will the US get the lightweight, gunmetal bbs wheels aswell?

zero: it's not the exterior that makes it better than the viii, it's the mechanical refinements. as stated above, the drivetrain and suspension are MUCH improved. read the specs.

The anthracite wheels are standard on UK cars, but an option for japan...not sure about the US.

Top gear just did a comparison between the MR320 and an Impreza WR1...lap times (including older models)

Sti (Last one) PPP = 1.31.1
Evo VIII FQ300 = 1.28.9
WR1 = 1.29.4
MR320 = 1.26.0

....now that's a whitewash! even the older Evo is faster than the WR1!

You should have your MR by now Kyl3cook, how is it? I have an MR on order gray also. The release of the MR in the US is a pretty significant. Better car than the VIIIs but also the commitment too the US market is good.

Hello,

I beleive that's and HKS ic pipe (part of the FQ upgrade).

Yes I should have my MR320 by now (actually by yesterday), but the dealer is still awaiting the Tax so it can be registered, which is done by the government so is out of their hands. Hopefully I should pick it up next week sometime. As soon as I pick it up, I'll post some pictures up.

Cheers,

Matt.

Hmmm.. that upper ic pipe looks slightly different than what's pictured here:

Maybe the HKS Kansai intercooler pipe kit in that pic is for the EVO7?

Why does the MR shifter look higher than ours? What is that ring thing between the shift knob and boot and what does it do?

That ring is probably the reverse lock out ring.
