Why do they do what???? To me, it just the fact that the cars gets better and better as the years go by. So you expect that the 2005 EVO or any car for that matter would be the same as 2003???? So should the EVO today be the same as the EVO I??? It is just EVOlution.

We got it without AYC and ACD to help keep the price down until they could develop a market here in the US. Evo's in the UK used to start @ $45,000. Besides I hate to think about the cost of that stuff to fix since mits. would probably do it's usual warrenty sidestep.

To me...it is still normal. Don't you guys know that we in the US of A don't get the same goods as the stuff that is in the originating country or other countries?? Look at all the cool phones that Japan already has or in Hong Kong. It takes like half a year to get the same model here as in Hong Kong! Some of the them never even make it here!!!!

Personally.. my 2004 EVO 8.. has all the power and handling that I need. 10 more horses... or ACD/AYC.. while nice would not be worth any more money to me.
We already can do 0-60 in less than 5sec.. and 71.x in the 600ft slalom. That is super car territory. Why complain that NEXT year a more expensive car will be incrementally better?!?
