The MR is going to have better handling and 60 foot but im going to miss beating bikes, Now its EVO all the way. Hopefully i get that Evo to make more power and be faster than my old baby, my goal is to runs high 11's constant in the 1/4 and still have handling, I like an all around car, I've only made it to mid 12's constant and low 12's stripped down.

Current 600cc motorcycle runs high 10's and low 11's. 1000cc class runs high 9's and low 10's. Bikes have HP to weight ratio of 1:3. In order for car to beat bikes, your "car" needs closer to 1100 RWHP.

so in a sense. the bike is faster but the operator must be capable of using the power. hence how a car can be faster.
numbers and figures look good on paper, but producing them is a whole new ball park.

In my 01 Z28 I could outrun 600's and 750's with about 350 RWHP.
A bike's power to weight ratio doesn't mean a whole lot on the highway. I doubt he was pulling any liter bikes.

Everyone just remember bikes will run that in the quarter mile. But remember its hard to keep the front wheel down under hard accereration like that . Thats why most of us can beat them with hp numbers in the 400 hp range at the wheels .

Launching a bike correctly is not that difficult, its about the same as launching a car if not easier. And the bike has huge advantage to start with.

Last time, I was toying with a Modena with my duc 748. I easily beat it from 80 to 120mph. And my 748 is extremley slow comparing with my 998 and 1000RR.

But let's assume fast car means production vehicles
in that case the McLaren F1 can do the quartermile in 11.9's =)

BTW, if you don't chop the throttle and whack it open all the way quickly while you are on first or second gear, its actually quite hard to power wheelie a 600 from the start. It actually takes some skill to wheelie a 600. You have to be really stupid to messed up the launch because 600 doesn't make much below 6k rpm.
But of course, whoever is stupid enough to drag race with a car probably don't know how to ride anyway, so i guess beating them is possible.
