Unhappy

ZIP file is still unavailable at 13:27 CDT. IE says it is unable to open the internet site. It's either unavailable or cannot be found. Ideas?

I called TXS and Jermaine said to check back in a few minutes as he's working on fixing the link.

Never mind... I just got it. Look slike the web site has a limit on number of concurrent connections for file downloads.

I just talked with Turboxs directly and they said you don't have to enter the new parameters manually like the website says. Just download them the same way you would download the new firmware and maps into the utec. I'm confused.......

If you have uploaded and downloaded maps from your UTEC, its the same thing.. you highlight the parameters "map" then do a download or upload the same way you'd do a map..

Should I even bother with downloading the 1.7 if I am still running closed loop. Or can I download it and not turn on open loop?

Exclamation

Guys, please don't upload any parameter files or maps from pre 1.7 evo software. Hand enter anything to the correct location if you think it needs to be changed.

Open Loop Fuelling features do not work when it is not turned on.
Enjoy!

Open Loop Fuelling are in regards to fuel control not boost control.

Thanks,

Jermaine@turboxs.com

P.S. Jack, yeah your in trouble

I keep receiving a "Transfer Failed" error whenever I try to upgrade the UTEC. I've tried different baud rates, but the furthest it gets is 2 bars on the status bar. Since my laptop doesn't have a serial port, I have to use a serial to usb converter and has always worked when accessing the UTEC for datalogging/tuning/etc. Short of trying another laptop with a serial port, any suggestions?

Your error is likely due to your USB to Serial adapter. Try to upgrade it from a straight serial connection. i.e. Desktop.

Thanks,

Jermaine~

Sorry, you will need to have your car retuned if you would like to use the new software. If you are happy with the current tune I wouldn't upgrade until your modifications change.

Thanks,
