question setting turbosmart BOV???
do all BOV'S have a flutter when you let off of the gas in low boost?
i just installed the dual port turbosmart in my MR and it makes no difference wether i set it towards hard or soft i still get flutter. does this just go with the territory of a BOV?
thanks

If you can have anyway of measuring PSI on the setting make sure its close to what your psi is at vacuum. Other than that you will feel maybe a bit of compressor surge . As for the screw try matching it with a new one or getting that thing called "gra-bit" from your local hardware store its a bit for your drill that makes stripped screws usable...anywho best of luck to you and hope you get it sorted out.

I just installed mine also and get a little flutter in low gear. To me its not a big deal and from what I read its not going to cause any harm to the turbo. Just be glad that you don't have stalling issues like other members have had.

Is your BOV a Turbosmart Dual Port or Supersonic. If it is the Dual Port you won't have any stalling problems. You want to have the spring tension as soft as possible, while not causing cavitaition of the turbo. A little bit of flutter at low boost is perfectly fine and nothing to worry about.
