When should you buy ARP Head studs?

pay now or pay later, some studs you can install with the head on but I'm not sure you will get results as reliable as if you did it with the head off. FWIW I have 395hp on the vdyno, stock turbo and am still on stock head studs.... upgrading soon tho.

Factory studs are good for over 400whp in my personal experience. I have done several on stocks.

When installing arp's, you dont have to remove the head FYI.

im running 26 psi with a 60 trim for more than a year with stock studs and no problemas at all!!!....

i think you should do it first thing. you can blow hg even on stock set up

What is more important head studs or head gasket? Is the usual failure stretching head bolts or blowing the gasket. Or is it a one then the other type of thing.

I'm thinking of adding some ARP studs and am wondering if I should do it right and pull the head to add a better gasket or just do it the easy way?
