It's more a safety precaution when you're going to run higher boost

mid 20's with stock turbo and head gasket i think you are fine. that is what i still have on mine for now(evo). i will only change to arp when i get my turbo kit on. even with the arp on my talon, head gasket still let go at 29 psi with a 60 trim. i think if you need arp's then you also need head gasket. don't know any evo owners who had a head gasket go with stock turbo on(due to not having different headstuds).

well about the gaskett though i read that the evo one is much better then most cars head gasketts... but i will be changing mine with my cams just cause i plan to do a big turbo... i would say at 21-22 psi ur fine anything higher and bigger turbo might as well its like a 90$ safty part

i know a guy running a gt35r that trapped 127mph and he has yet to get head studs, I say just get them when you get around 350whp for safety.

Nothing the stock turbo can put out is worth installing studs on. If you have the valvecover off though for whatever reason, might as well install them. 27psi and 130 traps have proven that a tuned car should not require them.

don't get studs unless you're building up your engine. Stock is fine and i've never heard of any of the stock headstuds failing.
