stock '05 on Mustang dyno...anyone?
Anyone have a baseline Mustang dyno run on an '05 Evo ?
I currently own an Audi S4 with an MTM chip and cat-back which according to the data below this set-up should put out at least 235 hp and 284 lb/ft torque on a Mustang (ballpark).

I would like to know how close to these figures a stock Evo is. I know a modded Evo can easily surpass this, but I'm not sure whether I want to mod the Evo given the warranty problems (never had this trouble with Audi; my dealership actually encouraged me to mod it).
Anyone have any dyno data? What simple mods would I have to do to an '05 Evo to get close to 250 hp & 250 lb/ft torque (on a Mustang). I wouldn't want these to negatively impact daily driveability or emissions i.e. I would want it to drive like stock, but better .
Thanks.

EVOTEXAS,Thanks for the info. From the dyno data on the S4 (versus the chip manufacturer's quoted figures), I estimated the driveline loss to be about 23%. Does that sound right for a Mustang dyno ?
So, with the TBE, MBC and flash would the torque at the wheels be around 300 lb/ft with 300 whp ?

Mustangs are all over the place though... Buschurs reads lower than a friggin DD!!!! I see Mustangs below and above dynojets too so I dont think its comparing apples to apples even with the same dyno... everyone must have different settings or something...

depends on who's MD, you've got to use the same one to set a standard but on average i'd say between 230-240, some more, some less. timeslips always hold more clout on this forum than dyno sheets anyway so line em' up!

MTMS4, do not be fooled by the numbers in this thread. Most mustang dynos read MUCH lower than Dynojets, but the numbers posted so far in this thread are dynojet-equivalent. Low-reading mustang dynos will only show 205-210whp on an 05 Evo. It really depends on the roll weight setting of the MD, and that's not something you can see without getting deep into the system to find it.

Our baseline was done with 900miles on the odom at the opening week of the brand new mustang dyno calibrated by Tim Gentil from MD. The model of the dyno was http://www.mustangdyne.com/MDAWDIMPSE.htm.
Stop spreading the untruths that the BR dyno is the end all in dyno benchmarks. His dyno is not even the same model and is made by the same company. Imagine that! Get your facts together Mr. Truth Squad.
This is BR's cheaper unit: http://www.mustangdyne.com/MD-AWD-500-series.htm
