I have one too and I just need to slice the right wires. Injectors duty cycle doesn't log properly for some reason though. I have my AVCR for that though. I also think my sensor went south from all the leaded fuel I have run, because my old settings now yield like 12:1 af for pump fuel and 13:1 on race gas. I will replace that bastard and see if it fixes it. It is a great unit though, except I hate the flimsy antenna. I might buy the cable instead, because my antenna is almost broken and gets packet loss.

Timing?

The PLX R-500 is only missing one thing....it doesn't log timing....I would still say go with the pocketlogger/wideband...this is my way of tuning.

I use a pocketlogger from pocketlogger.com. Worked perfect in my eclipse and I just transfered it over to the evo. Works perfect.

instead of using a palm pilot to log, couldnt u just get a laptop to log...wouldnt the sampling rates be alot quicker...so instead of connecting from the car to the pocket logger and then moving the file to ur laptop, why cant u just connect the car to the laptop? or does no one sell the cable for that?

I don't use a laptop at all. I just read straight off the Palm and tune from there.

Perhaps, but I'm not keen on driving around with a laptop opened up in my passenger seat.

Actually with a laptop and AEM you can view it down to 4 rpm increments, just trace the graph and it will give you the data at any rpm. i.e. 2057, 2061, 2065, 2069.....
