Element Tuning/ Hydra EMS
Was browsing some other sites, and the Hydra EMS seems to be a popular choice.
Anyone running the unit yet?

Hydra EMS
Yes I currently run the Hydra on my Evo.
It drives like stock.
For the price vs function, its haqrd to beat.
But then any ecu is only as good as the tuner.......

I don't think you can or would want to. from what I have seen the o2 sensor is intergraded in the software.
The read out in the hydra log is so nice, it is well worth the cost.
send the question direct to element

I found the Hydra EMS for sale at JSC Speed. It looked really nice and the price is hard to beat compared to the AEM EMS. Anyone with this setup give us some pros and cons on the system? I really want to get rid of the stock MAF as it's so freakin' restrictive and it really hates my mods! Any help is really appreciated!

I actually was seriously considering the Hydra over everything else at one point.. The two issues for me were the typical OBD-II problem I have up here in NY with inspection, and it uses speed density on the Evo version, therefore removing the MAF..
Otherwise I've heard only good things about it from everyone who's used it, other than the UI hehe.. Its also one of the few units that can do closed loop operation at WOT with a wideband.
