300whp on 1.6b, car drives more smoother than stock, catche throttle somehow smoother and clearer (pardon my english), but customers report are great driveability and smootj power. no problems of any kind. and most of all, no annoying "revs staying while changing gear" effect

I have had my Autronic for my IX now for a few months and couldn't be happier. I drive my car in rush hour traffic 60 miles daily, and it is smooth as butter. Car is way more responsive than the stock ECU and pulls to the point where people think i have cams. We hit 325hp and 329 torque on 91 and 22psi. This is with stock injectors, cams and with a stock cat. Can't wait to start the 2.4, cams and a bigger turbo for the fun to really begin .

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make my appt. w/ the dyno on the tomorrow. I am going to install it tonight and do some street tuning this evening if I can find the time..
I will report back once I have something to share.

Hy!
As I have my board now a few days some feedback:
Pro:
- Power, the car pulls like crazy from 3000 - 8000 rpm (more power at the bottom)
- driveability over 2500 rpm is great
- if the car idles smoothly it has a lot of power you can actually roll on with no throttle
- the launch control (pedestrians nightmare)
Con:
- When the car is cold you need you lot more cranking than with stock ecu
- When the car is cold the idle is sometimes at about 500 rpm (not always) and it stalls sometimes, when the car runs about one or two minutes sometimes the idle goes up to 2000
- The idle oscilates around 800-1100 when the car is warmed up and when it does, it keep doing it, 800-1100-800-1100 and so on. Sometimes it is fine.
- Poor/bad throttle response when below 2500 rpm around town, the car jumps like a horse when relasing and pushing the trottle. The only thing you can do is hit the clutch to calm it down.
Aside from that I am quite happy.

Hello!
I have experimented a little bit and tried myself to fix the issues. As I have no internal knowledge of engines and how they work in different states I ended up making this less worse but it is far from perfect . I am no tuner.
Coldstart is now stable and runs at 600 rpm for about 30-60 sec. Then it rises to 1100-1200. No stalls occurred since I have modified the parameters.
When the car is warmed up the idle oscillates from 800 to 900. I can live with that. Much better than before.
The poor/bad throttle response is still there.
I am planing to upgrade the car further, the autronic and TBE with main cat still in place was the first step. I need to go to the tuner to mount the new parts and he does the mapping too, and if it is as bad as ist was the first time I think I need a proper mapper. We'll see.
The autronic is a very fine ecu. If you are planning to buy one you need to have it proper mapped by a tuner who really knows what he does. If you have someone who can do this, go for it.
