I have a couple of close friend sthat have HKS DLI II units on their car with great results, I have also read of other people getting a few extra WHP and tq with them.
The downside is the price on the HKS and the disponibility. I just got a couple of plug and play Hyper Sun units but now you can get others from XS engineering, AEM CDI 4 channel and also Buschur sells their own coil packs.

^ careful... the aem cdi is also a cop box it's not plug and play.
the sun hyper ignition, the hks dli ii, and the xs engineering iginition are the only ones that are plug and playable.
all others require you to source extra parts and put them together in the right way.

Don't leave out the fact that you can run a 1g ignitor/transistor along with a 1g coil if you are able to change your ECU's coil dwell settings. You can build that setup for around 150 bucks and it will with stand alot of hp. It is what I have done and it works wonderfully, I actually like it better than the ignition amp setups for a few reasons but they both have pro's and cons.
