Hi, I have a problem with a Nology Coil-on-plug and module system installed on an EVO7 with a MOTEC M800 ECU
the Nology ignition module has only 5 volts output and all Mitsubishi´s need a higher voltage module
Where can I find a good and not expensive ignition module that can solve this problem? Tks

What signal are you expecting? The ignition module itself is triggered by a 5v square wave, In fact their 2 channel ignition module looks exactly like a 1G DSM Module.. I'm assuming you adapted one of the COP systems and added the module for triggering? It should work fine.. I don't know what you mean by an output signal, but you could use an MSD Tach adapter to condition the signal for a 12 volt trigger if your talking about the tach output..

FWIW all of the ignition upgrades on the Nology sites look like rebranded OEM parts.. The 4 pole coil looks like a DSM or Dodge Neon coil, The ignition module looks exactly like a 3KGT module (V6 module for a DSM)

what I´ve done is replace OEM ignition module & cable wires.

Bought 04 Nology COP and 02 Nology Ignition modules
Installed them 02 COP per Ignition module

Nology ignition modules have a 5 volts square-wave
Maybe that is why engine starts but does not run well,even in minimum.

Are Mitubishi´s IM square-wave higher?. Or I have to tune something in the Motec M800 ECU.
