Yes, we cannot wait any longer either. The AP has been a huge hit on the WRX boards. If you guys are curious of what exactly they do check out these 2 links... http://www.gnvmotorsports.com/catalo...roducts_id=680 thats the cobb AP, for those of you who are not familiar with the product take some time and read. Also here is the street tuner http://www.gnvmotorsports.com/catalo...roducts_id=681.

Yes these are all for subarus, however i am sure its going to be very similar for the evo as well.

Oh also as for what is better between ecuflash and AP's. Its all about personal preference. I don't think everyone will ever see eye to eye on what tool is best for tuning. And seeing that the AP is not out yet we can't be too critical of it. But this has dominated all other similar products in the evo world. Also cobb offers some of the best customer support and tech out of any company out there.

When we get more info we will make sure to post in here and or start a new thread. Take car guys!

Well this is probably the way im going to go, because 1 i dont live anywhere near any of the decent shops that flash, and 2 I would like to be able to change the tune myself at a local dyno.

Here is what the AP will look like for the Evo. Man, I'm stoked about this product...especially the closed loop dynamic spark timing...just like the Xede SMART.

I just found some more info regarding the AP...

"So, at risk of possibly saying more then I should, the AP's will soon have Speed Density, Anti-lag, Flat shifting, launch control, etc. Quite a few of those features are already working well on the DBC cars. Once it's done, it's a simple matter of making them work for the DBW cars."

SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET!

I'm REALLY looking for the option to store multiple maps and flash them as easily as the Accessport. I had one on the STi and really loved how versatile it is.

From what I understand, you will flash your ECU with one of their base maps and can use Street Tuner from there. If you wish to revert back to your custom tune you can do that as well with the AP. It's pretty cool stuff although I'm not sure how much resolution we will be getting. With the XEDE, we can go .1 (very nice) increments...we shall see how the AP pans out.

I had the Cobb AP in my WRX and I loved it. Justin @ cobbtuning email me and said that they will say the first week in November when the AP will be released.
