Dynoflash FKED YOUR OEM ECU?

I wonder if I do Al(Dynoflash) and it will cause problem for your original mitsu ecu. Last week I was driving in NYC and all the sudden my car locked up. Call up tow truck and now my car sitting in mechanic garage. Guy call me up saying my ecu locked up everything and it might be burned. Any suggestion?

suggestion? get a better mechanic who can give you an accurate description of what has happened.
There's no way he can tell after the car is stalled etc that the ECU 'locked up everything' and unless he has the ECU Cable and software how is he even able to tell that the ECU has an issue?

additionally why is this in the ECUTek forum anyway?

Are you sure you just didn't pop off a IC hose or something? Did your car throw a CEL? What code did it show? Your mechanic should be able to tell you this.

I don't think I would be so quick to blame what happened on Al. At this point it doesn't sound like you have a clue what is going on with your car.

Did the mechanic tell you he was not able to read your ECU?

maybe wut ur mechanic ment was that your ecu is locked, some tuners do that to protect there tunes or just to prevent people to access it and tamper with their tune even somtimes the dealer cant get to it go on the ecuflash section and read more about it. and the term locked up can mean so many things do elaborate

Al probaly changed your immobolizer code to protect his maps. You will probaly have to send your ECU to Al to have it fixed. Umm mine was locked but a brilliant tuner was able to fix the problem and retuned my car and now it's running great.

PM Al directly and let him know your situation. I can tell you from experience he'd rather talk to you in person than read " Diluted information" posted on EvoM.

Good Luck however.

Got it fixed. I towed back from NYC and got it fixed in Turbotrix. They tuned my car and Mark found that my ignition got bad and replaced a new one. Not only that, he transfered my flash from my ECU to my new one. (replaced new ecu) . I spent about $1g overall. fk it i aint messing with my car anymore.

PS: Im not sure is turbotrix fked it up or my ECU or ignition got bad.
